CLC / Celbloc
SEED Materials’ CLC history includes the Celbloc block line and lightweight concrete work. Discuss masonry infill, partitions or a project-specific lightweight fill requirement.
Start with the intended use, block dimensions or pour volume, target density, required strength and installation conditions. Confirm the applicable product grade and supporting test evidence with the team.
Current plant operation, stock, production capacity and delivery dates are not confirmed. A historical brochure is not a current supply commitment.
Form / Finish / Function
Bring a drawing, site constraint or repeatable component requirement. Concrete and precast solutions are assessed around geometry, exposure, handling and the method of installation.
Potential briefs include non-structural site elements, landscape components and bespoke cast shapes. These are enquiry directions, not an off-the-shelf catalogue.
Feasibility, tooling, reinforcement where needed, testing and a supply route must be established. Structural applications require the responsible engineer’s design and acceptance.
Research & development
When an existing product does not answer the requirement, start a development conversation. Define the performance needed, explore candidate materials and agree how a prototype will be evaluated.
Requests may concern shape, finish, mass, buildability or a specific application. A development enquiry begins with feasibility; it does not imply a proven formulation or a ready production line.
Sampling, testing scope, cost and programme are agreed for the individual project. No performance outcome is promised before evaluation.
02 / Application thinking
A product name is only the start. Give us the site conditions and the design intent so the right questions can be asked early.
For a CLC discussion: wall height, thickness, openings, fixing needs and the proposed wall build-up. Masonry selection and detailing remain project-specific.
↗For a fill or screed brief: depth, area, substrate, imposed loads and moisture exposure. Suitability and the proposed mix require technical review.
↗For a precast concept: component geometry, finish, quantities, lifting access, transport and fixing. Confirm feasibility before specifying a product.

A SEED Materials subbrand

CLADRA is SEED Materials’ dedicated architectural GFRC brand. Explore façade panels, screens, curves and interior feature concepts through its independent website.
Application concepts are subject to development, engineering review, sampling and confirmation of the production route.

03 / On-demand development
Use SEED’s engineering and R&D capability to frame a development programme. Each stage establishes what is known and what must be demonstrated next.
Application, geometry, exposure, target properties, quantity and acceptance criteria.
Output / Agreed technical briefCandidate materials, manufacturing approach, constraints and a feasibility review.
Output / Proposed development routeAgree sample or trial scope, tooling needs and the method of evaluation.
Output / Sample & test planAssess evidence with the project team before defining supply, installation and quality requirements.
Output / Project-specific decisionThe testing programme, responsible parties and acceptance criteria are agreed for each enquiry. Development does not itself establish compliance or approval for construction.
04 / Engineering record
The historical CLC plant project connects plant engineering, equipment integration and material development. The archive documents experience; it does not confirm present-day operation.

SEED’s existing project record describes plant design, batching and cutting integration, commissioning and technology transfer.
Project photographs are presented as historical records. No current output, equipment availability or production readiness is implied.

05 / Technical enquiry

Before you specify
Choose a direction in the material families: CLC, concrete and precast, or project-led development. Use the application notes to describe the intended use before preparing your technical enquiry.
Start with CLADRA, the architectural GFRC subbrand of SEED Materials. For a bespoke material requirement, the development sequence explains how the brief, feasibility and evaluation are established.
No. CLC is an area of historical product and plant experience. Concrete, precast and bespoke products are project-led enquiries. Confirm current operation, availability, specification, minimum quantity and lead time directly before procurement.
No. Request a current, product-specific technical submission and the relevant test evidence. Design suitability, installation details and acceptance rest with the project’s responsible professionals.
CLADRA is a subbrand of SEED Materials, with its own architectural GFRC identity and independent website. SEED Materials is a separate legal entity within SEED Group.
Send the application, site conditions, drawings or dimensions, quantity, target properties, finish and schedule. Identify the testing or approval requirements early so the team can frame an appropriate feasibility review.
